Learn MoreWe have analyzed the global gene expression modulation induced by mechanical stress (shear stress) on vascular wall cells, seeded in the Ibidi system, with and without BVS+Drug. By the comparison of the different flow conditions we obtained a small panel of genes, mainly involved in inflammation, angiogenesis, leukocyte migration, smooth muscle cell growth, thrombosis (BMP4, SELE, HMOX1, MEOX2, SEMA3E): all these genes will be integrated in an in-silico model for the evaluation of restenosis and thrombosis development after BVS deployment.; This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 777119 SOURCE: Federico Vozzi (vozzi@ifc.cnr.it) - CNR
