GSE140077: Transcriptome analysis of human pancreatic cancer cell lines and gemcitabine-resistant pancreatic cancer cell lines

  • Organsim mouse
  • Type RNASEQ
  • Target gene
  • Project ARCHS4

Gemcitabine (GEM) alone and GEM-based chemotherapy are the preferred regimens for treating advanced unresectable and metastatic pancreatic cancer (PC). However, these treatments have limited efficacy due to acquired resistance of cancer cells to chemotherapy, the mechanisms of which are not fully understood. In this study, we established two GEM-resistant cell lines (BxPC-3-GR and CFPAC-1-GR) and compared the expression profiles of mRNAs between parental (BxPC-3 and CFPAC-1) and GEM-resistant cells by high-throughput RNA sequencing, and to identify potential targets for GEM response in PC patients.
