GSE87038: Single-Cell RNA-seq of Mouse Organogenesis

  • Organsim mouse
  • Type RNASEQ
  • Target gene
  • Project ARCHS4

Using the modified smart-seq2 method for high-parallel single cell transcriptome sequencing on cells from eight mE9.5 organs and tissues, we analyzed multiple cell subtypes in each organ and they showed different specialization degrees. Some germ-layer specific gene markers retained in corresponding organs, some diminished to just one organ while some showed more wide-spread expression among multiple organs. We confirmed each cell subtype using known markers and also identified new markers for cells in each organ. Important gene sets like transcription factors showed different expression patterns in each organ. Our study uncovered the detailed developmental regulation in each organs at mouse E9.5 embryo at single cell level, these results would gain us deeper and more comprehensive understanding on mouse embryonic organogenesis.
